Bridges
Do you have a broken, chipped or severely worn tooth? Is a missing tooth causing an unsightly gap in your smile? Are you suffering from a tooth with a large filling that needs support and protection? A bridge may be the recommended treatment for you.
Bridges do just that – they “bridge” the gap caused by one or more missing teeth. This is a great option to replace a missing tooth while placing crowns on adjacent teeth to improve their appearance and function at the same time.
At your first visit, Dr. Fabbro will prepare your teeth on either side of the gap and take an impression.. In the dental lab, two crowns will be created – one for either side of the gap – and a “false” tooth fabricated between them. At your second visit, the bridge will be securely bonded to the surrounding teeth to complete your brand-new, healthy-looking smile.
